Won 1st match 3-0....
Played the 1st round of the NSA last night. Didn't get onto court until after 10:00 pm, due to some long five set matches earlier in the day. I played the wildcard Kimesh Chetty, a recent university champion and aspiring professional player. Playing on the all glass court did take some getting used to, as it was surprisingly quick for a glass court. I managed to open up quite big leads early in each game and although the match was 3-0 (11-8, 11-5, 11-5), I was pleased to get a competitive match under my belt.
Playing David Letourneau tonight, after he won a marathon 5 setter (12-10 in the 5th) last night. He's an up and coming Canadian and will certainly have the crowd on his side.
Looking forward to getting on court 1st tonight!
